Last night it felt real for the first time. We have what it takes to move to Arizona, and there were implications I hadn't considered. Our trip in July is superfluous, if we stick to our story that it was a fact-finding mission. Annie thinks we were going out just because we love it so much, but I believe it was a slippery grip on ourselves as careful, sensible, earthbound women.
Apparently, we have all the facts we need. And more wheels than any American family should own.
We told the first set of friends last night, and that's when I felt the first twinges of sadness. Because, somehow I still have the feeling that every change is final. Ha! I mock me.
