Companies have wildly-varying criteria for accepting affiliates. Amazon, for example, didn't even want to know what kind of website we had; they wanted us, and it was mutual. I can't help it - I love Amazon. Camping World looked us over and gave us a pass. Fine, Camping World, because we bought our Travasak from someone else. Hurts, doesn't it?
So, when I applied to Audible.com, I braced myself for rejection. After all, this is the company whose name is uttered by Ira Glass himself. I was reaching for the Glass ring. A week went by without word, and I knew. I've lived through worse than this. Then, we were accepted.

hey! I actually ordered stuff from Amazon through your link!
Oh, awesome! Thank you. It doesn't tell me who orders, which is kind of nice because no one has to feel on the spot. But I'm glad to know!
Good luck with that doctor thing Friday! You know, the thing where you become a doctor.
