We have a sad reason for a road trip, and no Duck to take it in. We're kicking ourselves all over the place that the motorhome isn't ready for travel. My son loves this rig, and constantly teases us that it would be so great if only the scenery kept changing. THANK YOU to friends and family who have been so sympathetic and supportive, and who are defending the home fronts while we take care of business.

Rox and Annie - we love you. Congrats on selling the duckette; although she will always have a place in our hearts, we think of the big duck as Carat's true home (and, therefore, yours as well). I wish the big duck was ready for your road trip also, journeys like this would be so much easier if you could travel with the comforts of home (like Carat and Lilly, for example) to renew your spirits at night. I wish we could be there with you.

It's true - we're so comfortable here. The cats are so comfortable here (Lily and Carrot play together!). We don't even like to go back to the house. I guess that does make it our true home.
