I wanted to mount the converter on the ceiling of that compartment but there was too much stuff in the way, so I put it up on a block. Next step is to drill holes in that compartment floor and the next one underneath and put in a drain pipe, in case we ever have a similar hard-core waterline failure.

Not being mechanically endowed, the plunger is about the only thing I can relate to in the pics! :)

What I meant to say was, You guys are funny! Ironically, the plunger is the only thing in that picture that we don't need.

I do fine on following basic house/duck repairs, but when it comes to reading anything about electrical systems, my eyes just glaze over!
I want to know this stuff! I may need to know this stuff! Thanks for the learning experience.
Dirty, I think a lot of people do name their rigs. At least, the RVers I've gotten to know a little do.

Hee! I'm glad Google was not your friend this time. Vizcacha is the Spanish name for the Chile rodent, and I use "chillyrodent" most places I go. Except in real life, like in job interviews and trying to cross the border.
H, This comment is really a question that has nothing to do with your current post about the converter.
In reading you blog, I see that you have a Prius, and that you have bought a "tow dolly" for it.
It looked to me like it was for only two wheels. Can a Prius be towed with two wheels up and two down? Which are up? Front or back?
Have you ever towed the Prius, or is this just for the future?
I am very interested in this because we also have a Prius and I had expected to either replace it with something we could tow, or drive it separately.
Theres no rush on an answer, but a post on this subject would be very much appreciated!

We haven't towed the Prius yet. We got the dolly because the Prius can't be gizmoed to tow four-down, as you know. The front wheels are on the dolly. We agonized about buying something we could tow with a bar, but decided against it, since we love the Prius and it's not far from paid off.
Annie will be able to say more on this, because she did extensive research on our options while I played online solitaire and read comic books. She will probably be able to tell you what kind (if any) of disconnections have to be made while towing.
