The dolly looks very silly behind the car, and it feels ridiculous. Not so the adorable Annie.
I tried earlier to describe a picture I took in Florida, but here I save myself 983 words:
Who else would you call for results like this? |
The weather is REALLY NICE today. REALLY NICE. So, instead of traveling, here are some pictures:
Ocean Pond (Olustee, FL)
This was taken from a very cool boondocking site, Hog Pen Landing. I think the Park wants $2 a night to park here. Chemical toilets and lakefront parking, if you're the first one here. |
Lake City, FL
"Following the cessation of hostilities, a white settlement "sprang up" on the site of the old Seminole village." Like magic. I'll bet it was very sweet.
A duck
What brand of duck is this? |

That's called the Muscovy Duck. They're from south america and are great when it comes to insect pest control.
Muscovy! Thanks, Steve. Do you mean they migrate, or that they originated in South America?
I'm not sure because I've never seen them here before. At least not around the southwest. I have seen them when visiting family down in S. America.
Nice Pics. Love the Spanish moss!
Very nice photos....
Nice pictures! As you know I'm very interested in knowing how towing the Prius will work for you. I can see how important it might be to have the prius tow it's own trailer from time to time.
Good luck, be safe, have fun!
I.M notationing that y'all were mighty into askin' we'uns to describe things, but after yer feelin' of the adorable Annie, y'all never did say what that were like. Just sayin' ya know. :)
Haha, I.M.! You're a funny guy and you just keep your mind on feeling your lovely bride Nilda and don't be trying to imagine my own good luck!
Merikay, we'll definitely keep you posted on Prius-hauling.
Bob, I love Spanish moss. We used to think it was parasitic, but I guess it isn't at all.
Thanks, John. And, are you actually Bhikkhu? Tell me about your handle!
Hey, Shiff Shiffer, is that you?
This is what I get for not reading posts for a couple days. Then when I do I start with the latest and not the oldest so I'm totally confused. When did you get to Florida?
