First comment. YES!
Well-done, good man!
I'm behind all those beautiful spring flowers.
I shall turn off my capslock in honor of Annie's migraine. See, I *AM* a caring person. Oh oops...I slipped there, didn't I? I hope she forgives me. :)
Dang migraines! I sometimes get them when in the desert. Allergies maybe? bummer. Loved the hiking in the desert photos and the flowers! At the end of this month we are going searching for flowers.
That jaw would be AWESOME on the fireplace mantel!
Annie's Behind is trademarked? Cool.
And coyote teeth. My inner Bone Lady is sulking.
i'm typing very softly...to say that you are migh-T oppps migh-t lucky that Annie is behind you all the way. whispering best wishes to Annie.
ok, nice post (subdued comment) (sigh...)
Nice time of year to be in the desert. Nice pics.
Oh yea, don't know if you youngsters have gone through "The Change" yet, but for me it was a double bonus. No more period, and no more migraines!
God bless the desert and all that is behind it.
I'm too shaken to be witty...or maybe too old...or maybe just tired today. Thanks for sharing the flower pictures, they really helped lower my stress levels after viewing the first pictures.
You could have called this one "Beauty and the Beast" but then that's not nearly as catchy as Annie's Behind. However it was beastly and beautiful at the same time. Don't you know that standard dental practice requires you to wear gloves when playing with someone's teeth? I'll be quiet now out of respect for Annie - I have chronic migraines too - I'm told it's a sign of intelligence. Too many brains stuffed into a cramped space pinches the nerves...yeah, right!
I hope Annie can put her migraine behindTM. You know I empathize, and it sounds like Annie and I are on the same cycle. Horrors for you and MTM.
Please know how heartily I laughed at this post, Roxanne. I admire you for touching, and diagnosing, the skull.
I agree with Rubye.
Oh, and she blesses all behinds as well. Some of us are more behind-blessed than others even....speaking as a very (very) blessed person. Some of us are just blessedly behind. But only Annie has the trademark, dangit.
Love the flowers and the twin coyote shots too. Hard to catch those in nature posing like that.
I left off exclamation points, that makes my comment very quiet, right? Uh huh. A good thing you said to tone down the wit, now I can guiltlessly post totally witlessly.
Sorry about the migraine Annie, they suck so bad.
Somebody is visiting the dessert! I guess its that time of year for us all! Hopefully that's not contributing to the migraine though. Stay safe and Annie hope you get to feeling better soon.
Migraines suck. Poor Annie.
I'm not speaking from experience. For this I am thankful. Got a couple other "issues", but anything that's wrong in my head can't be fixed by turning off the lights. Well, except maybe if that were to mean "the big sleep". Really hard to wake up from that one though.
Hope she feels better soon.
Hope Annie's migraine is short lived so she can get behind something again. Looks like the desert is beginning to bloom. :)
Annie's behind the rocks totally cracked me up, and then I found myself adding "Annie's behind" in front of every other picture, even the ones that didn't have it. I'm Sooooo easily amused.
Get well soon, Annie! Migraines suck, and not in a good way.
Thanks, you guys, for all the quiet comments. Annie is doing well today, and thinks (IhopeIhopeIhope) that this spate is over. But, your comments made me laugh so much that I can't let them go unresponded-to.
Gaelyn, you must be god, or something, and Joan Osborne was right. Rock on. Good work on the flowers, and I can get behind them, too.
Brenda, nice job until you SHOUTED. Sheesh. You didn't wake her up, though, so all is forgiven.
Sue, searching for flowers is fun. Don't forget to look up, because that bright cactus was above us waiting to pounce. As for the cause, I think Judy may be spot on.
Judy, you may be spot on.
Laura, if I only had a mantle it would be there. And, Teresa, you and Laura have to fight over the teeth that I didn't bring back with me.
Thanks, Sherry, the whispered well wishes went well.
Les, the more b-hind, the more b-lessed. That's how we look at it, anyway. And, the scary predators were good enough to pause in their sloth to pose.
Barb, it is a great time. Many snowbirds are heading towards home now, which may be more of a Canada thing than a weather thing, because it's still nice here.
Russ, sorry to shake you up like that. Probably wasn't good for your heart or spleen. I should have posted a warning first.
Donna, that's what I tell Annie, too, that her head is too tiny for her brains. It's what we tell you people with migraines to make you feel better. I skipped the gloves on accounta no saliva. I skipped the sucker for the same reason.
Andra, I hope you have finally put that particular migraine BEHIND you. Nasty business. And, did you wake up wondering if you really had taken 8 Excedrin?
Thanks, Rubye Jack. I hope someone does - the desert and all that's behind it (us) can use it!
Levonne, which part of The Desert are you in? You guys are having a bit of a vacation, aren't you?
Bob, my head issues get bigger when the lights are out. I could use a little less existentialism and a little more existing.
Janie, the desert is doing pretty stuff now. I want to see some tortoises emerge.
Jesterqueen, this made me laugh, and now I'm going to try it. Those of us who are easily amused save a lot of money on entertainment.
Thanks on Annie's behalf, Sue!
I am so glad to see that Jessie (jesterqueen) is commenting on your blog. She will totally get you, and you her.
Yes, I did wonder if I had taken 8 Excedrin when I woke up. Of course, as Annie will attest, waking up with a migraine is one of the most disconcerting experiences, like opening one's eyes and being shot in the head at the same time. Taking 8 Excedrin at once is not unimaginable in that state.
I hope she is feeling better today. Please give her a hug. Or whatever else she wants. :)
Andra, Annie laughed with recognition at your description of a waking-up migraine.
Oh My, "Annie's Behind - No end in sight"... such imagery against a backdrop of beauty.
Thank you for soothing my nerves with those beautiful flower pictures after you scared me to death with that picture of the preditors!
Lou, Imagery R Us.
Paul and Marti, it was the least I could do.
Thanks for the tour! Good stuff.
You've made me very nervous...and feeling oddly carnivorous.
Thanks, and you're welcome!
Nina, here's a salad to look at.
