We'd stay longer and like it, but we're running out of groceries and we haven't juiced in a week. Every day's question is what kind of beans today? Annie told me this morning that some beans are more discomfort-inducing than others, but that may be something for you to Google. Teaser: pinto beans are your tiny friends.
We have an appointment for some Duck work in Utah on Thursday. Please send low-$$$ vibes. Or, send $$$.
The meadow we're camped in has been great. We're outstanding in our field every day. It's an excellent site for solar power, and I'll give you the location later. For sheer density of cool places to pull in, I'd choose 611, but 22 is a main-ish road, and you'll find plenty all along it, too. The sites I list are all on good roads, places we'd be willing to take the Duck.

Adzuki beans are good too, and all beans become less "music inducing" if you soak/rinse/soak/rinse a few times.
Btw thanks for putting some brightness into a rather dreary work day. Ugh! I can't wait to get mobile.
Adzuki! They "sound" fun! Because we tend to buy canned, that sticks us with conventional beans, but we'd make an exception for something interesting.
How is the search going?
Adzuki are my faves and they come in cans. What's the babe doing under the Duck? SO sorry you have to leave. Interesting that charging up the batteries wasn't the reason. Have to investigate your solar and who did it. I needs me some!!
I didn't know! Maybe because we've never shopped at Whole Foods. We'll check New Frontiers when we get back to Flag.
Eventually, the Forest Service rangers would notice us, like when we planted our garden. Technically, we've overstayed our official welcome anyway.
Annie, Darlene, and Nicole did our solar! They're geniuses!
RV search is frustrating. I think I've met every scammer on the internet... ugh I didn't know it would be this way.
Where are the sweet, kind, honest, warm and fuzzy people I ordered up?
On the up side, the more I look the more I discover what I DON'T want.
The search goes on....
I know. It's gross. Seriously, learning what you don't want is big. It was also hard for us to find something, not being in an RVing area.
Can't seem to email you, so in response to your comment on my post, I have been taking fish oil for the last eight years. Perhaps that is why the hip didn't bother me sooner??
Oh how I have missed reading you!
Could be, Judy! Well, bummer - sorry I couldn't offer a useful suggestion. Uh, take more?
You Squashies and your person, the kitties have missed you!
@Judy - One of the best things I've ever done for joint pain is to eliminate sugar and caffeine entirely. Try it for a couple weeks and see if it makes a difference.
We had the most wonderful service with The MotherShip at Neilson RV Repair on highway 9 in Hurricane Utah, about 2 hours 30 minutes from you @ the north rim! We highly recommend them!
Right close to them, behind Wendy's is Willowind RV park, not as cheap as boondocking but very affordable with trees and grass and only20 miles or so from Zion National Park! If you want some good hints about where to go, contact us! Good Luck!
Ooh, Maria, that's good advice. We've been mostly pain-free since doing that.
Thanks, Phunny Pholks! We made an appointment with Little's in Kenab, who get good reviews on rvservicereviews.com, and more importantly, with Gaelyn. And, thanks for the parking ideas - I'll be in touch if we stay in the area for long!
If you are just going to Kanab, that's great. Gaelyn would definately be the go-to person for the Kanab area! We are not familiar with it at all! But having to spend 6 weeks in Hurricane, and working 3 months at Zion, we got to know that area pretty good!
You'll like Mike at Littles, plus there's plenty to do and see around Kanab. Miss you two already. Thanks for coming out to the Cape to say hasta luego.
It was a lot of fun, Gaelyn. Thanks for being such an excellent GC host! We're missing you, too - we're pretty boring left on our own.
Thanks for the extra info, Geri!
