☮ of π - a Thanksgiving miracle in Pietown, New Mexico

My good friend and social director, Betty, shared her relatives with me today. We toured Datil, admired the Sawtooth Mountains, and cruised on into Pietown. Did our eyes deceive us?? NO. Pie-O-Neer was open for business. Bonus thanks: Betty treated us all to pie. Thanks, Betty!

She wanted her rellies to see Toaster House, and so they did. I wonder how many people have silently thanked Nita as they rested weary bodies at her free hostel.

Thanks for reading, even when I'm going on and on about delicious comforts of a simple home. Even while I'm plotting how to leave it and get back on the road.

That is a very clever title! Love it.

Nice selfie, by the way.

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving too.

Susan, I wish I could claim credit, but the real Pie Lady of Pietown is responsible for that cleverness.

I'm with Sherry, first thing I noticed was your new selfie. Dang, Girl! Gobble gobble and all that jazz.

Rox, in our sorting and packing (get ready for it) we have a pile for YOU. Hahaha In your pile so far are three books. We'll get they to you when we catch up, maybe in Why. One is about Pie Town.

I had a piece of that delicious pie at Pie-o-neer a couple of weeks back. Yummy! Sounds like you had a nice Thanksgiving.

I liked that so much I had to copy it and paste it. :) I'd have no idea how else to do it.

Hoping you had a great Thanksgiving. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
