When the lady with the courtyard discovers I've been staying there, here is where I'll go next:
Roy's is home to a lot of ice cream, and a little of my money.
Wikipedia lists six movies that were filmed (at least partially) in Carrizozo, so if it looks familiar, maybe you shouldn't watch so many movies.

So happy you went back and shared Carrizozo with us. Love all the colors. Was that Poncho in the court yard you hid in coming to throw you out?
NO WAY..... If you had taken me there blindfolded I would have said " I have never been here before". How wonderful that run down little town is coming back to life. I did recognize the old Nike Bar, Roy's, and the old burnt out hardware store and a couple more places..Thank you for posting. I was just going to blow Carrizozo off when Jeanie and I get to NM but not Now. Might even go by and peek in my old office window.
Great pictures ! Guess that one place was really closed as there were 2 closed signs and only 1 open sign.
Very interesting. I didn't see any of that when I was there last year. Perhaps I too need to take another look. Plans are to go through again on the way to another spot. Thanks.

Perhaps if they're open there will be three Open signs so it's clear....... Many of those little NM towns are so bright you can probably see them from space. Which could answer another question :-) I love your little courtyard with the colorful herd.
