Goodbye, Columbus (Columbus, New Mexico)

End of the line?

"This must have been a jail," explained Captain Obvious.

Single?

Or the family suite?

Old hotel.

The wind finally blew us out of Columbus, but not far out.

Door in Palomas, Chihuahua

Same door in Palomas

Nice to have a Captain as your tour guide 😀. Love the Spanish lesson at the library.

Jodee, especially when I'm the Captain leading your tour.

Thanks, Miche!

Maura, words have been eluding me lately. Thank goodness I can still speak photos.

Jo, NM is colorful! Not a lot of beige.

Thanks, George!

I have been in the hinterlands so with no internet I haven't been able to keep up with your blog. So glad to be back in civilization so you could make me smile......no wait........laugh out loud. Especially on the headlamp installation. Love Mesilla, go there as often as I can. Went on my first memorable date to the La Posta in 1962 and now I go there with my memorable husband.

Aw, I love that your sweetie stayed memorable, Barbara. I'm not sure we can credit La Posta, but it couldn't have hurt, either.
