Fascinating history. Never managed to get there on one of the few open-to-the-public tour days. Next time you're in Albuq, you might want to visit the "Nuclear Energy Museum" (I think that's what they call it now) -- used to be called the National Atomic Museum, but apparently political correctness caused the change. Science/physics is pretty amazing stuff.
Powerful pics. It must be a moving and very different experience. Certainly the diversity of folks depicted indicates that it is interesting to many for different reasons. Thanks for sharing.

Wow. Is it safe to go there? Radiation?
We were told the radiation is 10X background; a coast-to-coast commercial flight delivers about four times the radiation of an hour at ground zero.
