Slip off your high heels and step into your mellow shoes. Dude.
Maybe you look for the "real" downtown wherever you go. Silver City has a ton of it.

One block to the _____ (left), check out the ravine that used to be Main Street. That last flood was one flood too many, and they made it into a park.

Always such great pictures. But your tags make them so much better.
We really enjoyed our month in Silver City a couple of years ago. Love all the colors around downtown. I particularly remember a great thrift store downtown, I think it was behind Alotta Gelato.
You do have quite the eye for sourcing out photos and then taking some great ones.
I want to hang out with the owner of that car.
I'll need to slow down and look around the next time I'm there.
Were are there any Scotts in the parking lot? Great photos!
Colorful representation of a fun community! Thanks Rox, miss u!!
You make me regret only doing a drive through... I'll have to return for a closer look at things. Here's my drive-by-shoot. They are only on Facebook right now, but I will write up my blog post about them soon. https://www.facebook.com/swankie.wheels/media_set?set=a.843056992432405.1073741963.100001843375288&type=3
Bison-tennial -- that's a good one.
This I gotta see.
If you ever need money, you should consider becoming a professional photographer. Great post!
Love the bumper stickers!!
Well now I know this isn't the town I was in many years ago it was the other one which at the moment I can't remember.
Great eye with these pictures, love all the colors.

Just love all the vivid color and beautiful old architecture. I would be smiling the whole time :-) The sidewalk art is fun. Thanks for sharing!!
LOL, Jo - "the other one."
Kathy and Pam, he was a pretty mellow guy, for sure. I found a couple of bumperstickers there that I needed, too.
You're too kind, Craig, but I like it!
See it, Kim! See it!
Thanks, Nickie. Feel free to use it. :D
Swankie, it's a fun town to mosey through.
Thanks, Donna! Let's hang out again sometime!
No one at all in the parking lot, Chinle. I guess they were afraid they'd have to prove lineage.
Thank you, Contessa!
Lisa, there really were a ton of thrift stores! I wasn't feeling the thrift mojo, so I only checked out Single Sock (or something like that).
Al, just park it and chill for a while.
Thanks, Cyndi. Stumpy is my ghost-writer, you know.
Great colourful place!
