Hello, Kittens - I've missed you! I couldn't write because I've been so very not-busy.
I spent a lovely and peaceful 18 days on the Rio Grande, enjoying the company of a certain gray cat. While I was there, I was able to do some holiday decorating; I haven't done that for a few years.
Immediately after that, I moved myself to a cozy house with two kitties.
This is not the other one. |
Neither is this. |
This is the site of the only truly free hot springs in town.
Warm your hands. |
I've been doing a bit of this.
That Sue. What a cut-up. |
I haven't just been enjoying myself in T or C! Oh no! I ventured down to Las Cruces, where Spud got fitted for new shoes and I browsed Main Street in a whole new town.
I browsled through Coas Books for a few days, until I needed food and a bathroom. Don't be afraid of Las Cruces' small Main Street. It was the most manageable traffic I encountered all day, and there is plenty of parking.

Enjoyed your pictures of TorC and Cruces; thank you
As usual love your blog posts. Can't wait to get back to NM. Pictures make me nostalgic.
Swankie, I "like" your "like."
Thanks, Judy! I'm glad you liked them.
NM is not the same without you, Chris!
I was just thinking about you yesterday, wondering where you were, and how you were. Looks like you're doing just FINE! Great photos, as usual. You're the queen of color... :)
PS - what camera do you have? Your shots are always so clear, colorful and wonderful.
Love that fab bookstore in Las Cruces. Also love what you did with the cat decor.
Thanks Barbara, and thanks for thinking of me! My camera is an Olympus Stylus.
Kim, decorating with cats is very trendy right now; I'm on the crest of the wave.
Lovely to have friends who share their kitty friends. TorC always rolls out her best colors for you - the blue is amazing. I'll have to find that area of Las Cruces, it is so very pretty. And a mosey-worthy bookstore sounds the best!!
Loved T or C was there in November for w few days so many colorful places, your pics renewed our memories. Have fun during your stay there.
