Springing forward - Truth or Consequences

Days lately are a pleasant blur of coffee with friends, breakfast with friends, lunch with friends, late lunch with friends, early-bird dinner with friends, and snacks and movies with friends.

Turtleback Mountain

I lost some socks and a pair of jeans. I gave up on them, because I can't even remember whose houses I've been in so I can ask "Was I wearing jeans? Did I take them off?"

So, I was excited when a friend told me I left stuff in a dresser. It was like a good shopping day, where I quickly picked up stuff I already know I like.

Little Sister. And Doozer, dozing.

Or "whatever" you want to do there.

Sue Soaring Sun loaned me The Book of "Unnecessary" Quotation Marks. I "laughed" so "hard" it was embarrassing. It also made me more aware of "what's" going on around "me."

Django

I could get into this, if I could get into this.

Trees here have stopped resisting the persistent warmth and are surrendering to life and bees. So have the people.

The silent retreat happens this weekend. You should be not-hearing about it soon.

I used to tell my children that silence is golden. Let me know if I spoke the truth because they were never silent so I never knew.

Refreshments! I hope it's okay for me to laugh, because otherwise I'm toast.

Awesome, you were just in Q, and now you're in Ontario! Who's running??

Barbara, I had one of those. I could never understand how someone who loved silence so much could spawn someone so in love with words.

"Silence is golden"?

OMG unnecessary quotation marks always crack me up - and make me immediately suspicious of the topic. There was a time when wondering where I left my pants was......well you "know". Enjoy the silence, I hope giggling doesn't count :-)

Silence? Really? There is some somewhere in this country? Can I make a reservation? Can I stay a long time?

Sherry, I'm sure the 27 other residents would not even notice you there in their town, so silent would you be!

Jodee, you would love this book. And, yes. I do "know" about your pants...

Love the questionable quotes around the "eggs". I'd be a little afraid to eat them, wouldn't you?
