The pets got tired of me sitting, so they encouraged me to go out in the yard and run around.
San Felipe de Neri church, built 1793. Don't expect to learn anything else in this blog. |
I had never properly strolled Old Town Albuquerque, but now I can't say that anymore.
It's why I didn't see it the first time. |
Papel picado ("peckered paper," Peter). |
Joy and I have been friends since we were 14! That's almost twenty years! We're not so much young Turks anymore as we are young Turkish coffee-drinkers.

I'm back again in Truth or Consequences, which holds more and more attraction for me.

Glad to hear you're still doing well and exploring! Let me know if you ever make it out of ToC and up to Seattle :).
Definitely! And, let me know if you ever make it out of Seattle and down to TorC! :D
I am a friend of Mike. Love your blog!
Thanks, Jozien! I'm glad you came over for a look around!
Thanks for the education on the church. Really sorry I missed strolling the old town when we were there, fun to see it through your lens! Love Peter :-) Hope the winds have died down and the temps are staying nice in TorC - enjoy all that attracts you.
Jodee, some people think there ought to be more learnin' here, so I threw them a bone. Winds are calm here right now, and the attraction continues.
Albuquerque is a beautiful town - at least the historic part is. NM is so full of history. Love it.
Love Albuquerque. Heading there next month for a few days. Will wander old town again after seeing your pretty pics.
P&B, there are definitely parts of ABQ that are beautiful. I also enjoyed cruising through Los Ranchos.
Enjoy, Barbara!
Really like the smoooooth, rounded edges of adobe buildings. No sharp corners for critters to lurk.
I'm shamefully behind reading your blog and have enjoyed your last few posts. I am alone and quiet while I travel and then outgoing and vocal at work. When I was an only child my life was the same, silence at home, chatter all day at school so it is not an unfamiliar phenomenon for me. I keep turning over the question of whether I am an introvert or an extrovert...is there a word for someone who wants to be both?? Maybe someday I'll make it down to T or C and we can talk about it...or maybe we won't say anything at all ha ha!
