Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely before 3pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 3pm and 4pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. South wind around 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Thanks, Bruno and Alphonse, for extending our reservation. There is an ongoing problem with one of the valve stems, and Annie has been wrestling it in the rain and wind. Lily (senior kitty) is trying to integrate herself into the Big House population, but they keep noticing. So far, she has camouflaged herself as rattan, forest green microfiber, and marble tile. I caught her here in the Duck practicing her petal-pink porcelain.
A LOT has been going on, including projects and goodbying. The projects are A LOT easier. We'll get pictures up as soon as I'm rehydrated.

Well, good luck to you gals. Sue and I hope you have a most wonderful ducky adventure.

So, now we can continue practicing saying goodbye - I think I can find something good in that!
Love you guys!
Kath
Thanks, Jill! Hope you two continue to have wonderful adventures here!
OW! HURTIE!
Take a look at that huge storm to the west! Tis April and regular big storms are pretty normal from the Rockies to the east shore. Best to have a plan on what to do in the midst of big storms because the likelihood is you won't be able to get to FL without going thru them unless you wait a month or 2.
Is Lily staying behind?
I haven't had a cat for years, but I have had a dog. I'm currently house/pet sitting a dog and two cats. Now I can understand why you're taking all your cats with you. I love the cats I'm pet sitting and I want to take one of them home with me.
Safe travels to you all, ducks and kittys!
Tesaje: good point. No, Lily's coming along with us, although she's enjoying sneaking into the Big House for privacy.
Jeanna: Yep, I believe it. Cats are pretty great.
Thanks, Merikay!
