What're we gonna do today, Brain?

Same thing we do every day, Pinky.  Check the chlorine level, then go back to bed.

The pool has been closed for about 10 days;  my son calls this 'a first-world problem.'  I think it's my step-father's passive-aggression toward long-term driveway parkers.   Did I put a lethal amount of chlorine in the pool ... again?  It's been a good thing, though, because it has forced us off the property and into outlaw territory.

Me.  Yesterday.  Denny's.  Ordering off the senior menu.  HAHA!  They didn't even card me.  Suckers!

Annie.  Yesterday.  Crescent Beach.  Urging us toward the water even while the lifeguard was clearing the beach.  HAHA!  He didn't even ... LIGHTNING!  RUN!!!

My father's "estate" took us into St. Augustine to sign papers.  I should have taken him along to sit on the conference table - that would have been hilarious.  I'm kicking myself now.

We tried to go to Anastasia State Park.  The ranger took our money, but warned us the lifeguard was clearing the beach, so Annie stuck her hand out and took our $8 back.

Annie has two water projects:  keeping it in, and keeping it out.  Then there's the Duck.

Those clouds may look bad to others, but all we have had is 105 and clear skies. Are you going to Daytona? 'Under the Dock' is a great restuarant, there.

My honeymoon was in St. Augustine. Love that area. You guys need to get a rubber duckie and include it in at least one photo in each area you visit. Kind of like Flat Stanley, but with your duck theme.

Squawmama, they sure scared us

Michael, we're glad to get this weather. According to my mom's John Deere rain gauge, we've gotten 5" over the last two days. And, it's a refreshing 90° instead of 103°, so that's good, too.

Pat, I love that idea! We do have the duck that the rig was named for.

LOL! Love the rimshot. Next time someone makes a lame joke during an interminable meeting, I am pushing that red button!

Kim, I think you'll find that useful again and again.

Sherry, if you mean the siren on the beach, why that's me.

Love those big black clouds! Storms coming always excite me. Guess I'm strange.

I find that stormy weather makes for the best Florida photos. I'm going to be thinking of this as I sit at my computer tomorrow. Why am I there? Oh yeah, bills to pay. I'll be on the beach one day!
