We did
flea across Florida as we threatened to do. Between the three of us, we spent $2.75. Prices were high, like you expect from a flea market, although some people were also running yard sales. The ride itself was fun. Remember how your parents used to say "Let's go for a ride!" and they might as well have been running your bath water? Now we are them.

Lulu, Florida, some other day -

Okay, better than nothing. |

Only two apparent graves, both from the 21st century. |
To blunt the keen edge of my disappointment, Annie suggested a picnic. Yay!

That's what we weren't supposed to do? More disappointment. |

Oh, ladies, Funny. Way funny. The B & W image after, "I don't have to run faster than the bear," was pure blogging genius. Notice how I qualified that?
I also like the part where you showed us where you'd shot up that sign. That was good, too.
Thanks for lightening the mood in my neck of the woods.
Hmmm. I think you two need to get out more. Like out of FL and see some other stuff.
LOL!!!
Hahaha! Very funny, ladies. I am glad you made it past the bears and Tina Turner without a poke in the eye.
I'm sorry, I just can't see after that poke in the eye!
FUNNY!!! Guess you had a great day because the photos are great!
Have fun
Donna
Interesting! Very Interesting
Great Tina Turner impersonation. Glad you didn't have to out run any bears.
Thanks, guys, for the compliments and good wishes, and apologies for the ocular injuries. It's TRUE: we need to leave Florida! I think maybe ... October?
OK, not to quibble, Roxanne (well, not much, anyhow)...and perhaps it's a more complex situation than is apparent to me right now...but isn't just about anything better than a poke in the eye?
Just sayin'.
Sue, you make a good point (OW!). I'm trying to brand myself, so that people will read a blog post - no matter how bad - and think that was better than a poke in the eye!®
