We've been thinking of Al and Karen today, because we're hanging out at Lazy Days, their favorite place. It occurred to me that any of these folks we see around RVs could be bloggers. Do we know you? Do we know you? Five couples are seeking restraining orders, so we're laying low here at [a place we'll tell you about later] (which, by the way, is AWESOME). I'm a little giddy from the free chocolate chip cookies in the lobby and the fresh coffee MOREPLEASETHANKYOU!!
We're taking the Driver's Confidence course at Lazy Days, so that Annie will finally stop martyring herself on the pale of pilot fatigue. HA! She loves to drive. I'll never get the keys out of her hand. It's okay, because I don't love to drive anything.
Little-known fact: Seffner is not that close to the beach. So, Annie hauled my whiney butt an hour west so I could dip my fat piggies in the Gulf of Mexico again. Clearwater Beach seemed nice-but-busy, so we hit Sand Key County Park just south.
I've been away from Florida so long that I had forgotten how happy the beach makes me. How happy does it make me? It makes me pretty happy.
We got a car phone call from Alphonse and Bruno this week. [Remember when saying "car phone" was like science fiction?] They made us laugh. Made!
We thought of Maria and MaryGail a lot today, because we used our Dunkin' Donuts card, and because we checked our hotel for bedbugs.
[Maria travels a lot and taught us how to do that.]
The hotel we're at offers a water-conserving option to not replace your towels every day; they call it "Save the World One Chambermaid at a Time," or something. Annie and I plan to put a big ole dent in the world tonight by using 22 people's share of hot water. Don't judge us. You know why.

I shan't judge you at all. I'm too busy laughing. Good stuff.
I always wanted to be famous for donuts and bedbugs! We think about you guys a LOT... I wish we were on the beach together, but not here, because it's cold here...
Excuse me? Dunkin Donuts card? Elaborate please.
Livin la vida loca = taking a REAL shower :) We are a sad & sorry bunch! LOL!!
Oh yeah...BEDBUGS...my least favorite subject! One of the best arguments for RVs.
Have to admit, I like the bubbly stuff, chilled and in a tall glass with orange juice!
Okay - I like the bubbles in the shower too, at least when I am in my stix and brix. It's just soooo...girly(?)....I don't know...
Beach, cookies, donuts OH YEAH!
But Driving "confidence"??? Not so much
The only think I miss about California is the beach.
I always think that save water thing means give us more money and so have no shame in using all the towels and all the hot water.
And about that restraining order....I'll lift it if you send morecookiesplease! But please don't dip those cookies or donuts in the gulf waters. Not what dunkin donuts means. (oh, now I have this image of donuts stuck on toes in the waters..it's just too much!). I should drink, maybe I'd be more normal if I did. Or sleep. Or something. Sorry. It's late night with TexCyn!
Driving Confidence--don't overdo it, Roxanne. I can see you now, a maniacal glint in your eyes, wrestling Annie for the keys. Just remember, moderation in everything.
Donuts huh? I want donuts! Or cookies... cookies are good too.

Kim, Maria and her wife gave us Dunkin' Donuts gift cards before we left NYS, because they know we [heart] DD. Donuts and cookies are on their way everywhere for removal of orders of protection and just because.
Not to worry, you guys, I'm still not all that confident.
Rubye Jack, I get what you mean now. It was the hotel asking me not to make them use more water, rather than the maid, so I used more water.
Hope that dip of your toes in the Gulf thawed them out a bit.
It's a beautiful area, enjoy!
Lazy Days is a great place but I really don't want to go back anytime soon. So how was the drivers class? We thought it was great.
Did you buy a new rv?
Paul and Marti - not only my toes, but my frosty-cold heart, too!
Karen, we liked it a lot, too. We were both glad we did it, and Annie said she even feels more confident, although she's been driving the Duck a while.
No, definitely no new RV!
