This is GREAT. I'll just follow you guys around the year after you go places and you can scout out all the big rig boondocking spots. So where are you going next summer so I can plan for 2014?? :-)))
Yep...time to start thinking of moving off the mountain...we're lower than Flag but the mornings are in the 40's. We'll be moving off down to the desert next month...still to warm down there right now!
It makes sense, Rick. I like seeing how other people do their thing, too.
Lynda, it just may be pushing the season's end now. The road is decent, but the road from Jacob Lake (67) closes after the first good snow (which could happen any time now), and the Park itself closes mid-October.

One day we'll find ourselves in the same campsite. That will be cool, except the running might scare me.

Even though I'm not a boondocker, it's been interesting seeing some of the spots I'll probably never camp in (if this makes any sense)!
How far off the main road are these? Think we might be a little late in the season...
