Flagstaff is officially in monsoon, which upsets no one. I'm hoping you're all smack-dab in the middle of wet, too.
Flagstaff turns out for its monthly Art Walk. Not everyone walks, though.
The two people in back are not pedaling. No one seemed to resent them after the brewery stop.
Downtown Flagstaff at night is a fun place to be. I love the nightlife. I got to boogie.
The Hotel Monte Vista is said to be haunted. I can neither confirm nor AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH.

Gosh, the photos of Flagstaff remind me a bit of downtown Hibbing, MN, where we lived for a few years. Redrum . . . redrum . . . Eeeek!

If I remember there should be a big Native American Festival coming up soon, pretty much takes over downtown Flag! One of the best I have ever seen! I think you might enjoy it!

I would love to get there. But monsoon and a truck tent aren't very exciting to me. I haven't camped in yet in rain so don't know if it would leak or not. Have to try it out closer to home first. And we sure are getting lots of rain here. Loved the duck, guess not much hanging room in spud.

Everyone needs rain. I'm not in Spud at the moment, although I have ordered those little rain diverters for her for when I'm out in the weather. I can see testing the tent where it's not a disaster if it leaks.
I think I might like it, too, Geri. And, should I look up Duck Dynasty? Yes, I should.

We finally made it "home" to Glacier National Park, got settled, got internet (in a remote place with no service)...so needless to say I have a lot of catching up to do (obviously) on your blog because we've been out of the loop since the end of May...so sorry to read what has happened.
You are so inspiring, traveling in Spud on your own and continuing the journey you know you were meant to take.
Glad you're getting a cooler temp reprieve, so little Spud doesn't turn into a baked potato!
