Quartzsite in the rear camera

Which way to the little riveter's room?

Not only can we, we have no choice. Step aside.

"This doesn't rhyme, and no one will ever remember it.  Think ... think ... ships, hips, blips, dips, lips ... HEY!"
This was seen out at Camp Bouse, the same day it was seen by The Bayfield Bunch.

Burning gas out on Plomosa I noticed these:

"FINAL RESTING PLACES FOR WORLD REKNOWN FIRST WOMAN CHEIF "STANDS WITH FLIES", "ONE RED FEATHER" - SON - AND RED KIESSER - VISIONARY.  SLAIN UNJUSTLY.  MAY EAGLE PROTECT ALWAYS"

What do you know about them?  Any local stories?  I came up empty.

Over the past month we've used about five gallons of propane and 65 gallons of water.  So, at current levels of consumption we can easily boondock for one month at a time, not counting runs for dry roasted peanuts and PBR.

So long for now, Quartzsite.  We'll breeze back through to say hey! to Charlene as we head south.  She is a woman of many talents; one of them is portrait sketching.  I got to see some of her sketches and the photographs they came from, and they are good.  Really good.

Liz, I won't swing by Wisconsin this time, but hope to see you again soon somewhere souther.

We're at our new 'docking site, and I see a few opportunities for climbing a hill with a stick and looking over the other side.  Maybe tomorrow.

Something free for you-Plus

Here's something I've been using for a long time, since my friend Bleen said stop complaining and install this in a very nice way:

AdBlockPlus for Chrome
AdBlockPlus for Firefox
AdBlock Plus for IE (maybe.  No promises.)

I use it in Chrome, and it works so well I forget I have ads on this blog.  The only problem is that there are bloggers whose ads I click in support, and because I'm interested;  then I surf in Firefox for the full Mad Men effect.

Gratuitous sky photo:

My plan for today:  photograph headstones.  There is a cemetery nearby with five photo requests, and I'm the woman for the job.  When I nearly got into an online argument about composting toilets, it was a wake-up call for me:  Life is short, go photograph grave markers.

Annie is RIGHT THIS MINUTE composing a technical-ish post with real substance.  What you really need is a FluffBlockPlus - then you would see only blank page where my entries used to be.  It's a good product.
